Movement and exercise should be fun, functional, and challenging enough that you’re body has to work.
Believe it or not, your body loves a challenge. Not only do muscles grow when they’re under stress, your mind benefits, too. Plus, we create new neural pathways when we try new things and vary our movements, and this is good news for our mental health as we age.
When we move and train intentionally, our nervous system can remain calm and we gain a better ability to meet the ups and downs that life throws us off the mat in our daily life.
